Slicer Build Win10, VS-2013U5, qt-easy-build

Juan Carlos Prieto
Hello,

I am trying to build Slicer in Windows 10 with Visual studio 2013 Update 5.

I built qt as shown here qt-easy-build

I still encountered an error while building CTK.

error C2065: 'Q_WS_QWS' : undeclared identifier

I have included the full error log.

Any help/tip will be greatly appreciated.

Best,

Hi Juan,

Thanks for the report.

VS2013 should definitively work, it is used for the nightly build.

Could you provide more context ? Which command are you using to configure the project ? and in which terminal ? (windows command line, windows bash, ...)

Thanks
Jc

Hi Juan,

Slicer is configured via cmake-gui and providing the qmake path.

Great. Which Generator are you using ? Could you confirm you chose "Visual Studio 12 2013 Win64" ?

I have this error now.

Error 1 error LNK1112: module machine type 'X86' conflicts with target machine type 'x64' [C:\D\Slicer-build\VTKv7-build\GUISupport\Qt\QVTKWidgetPlugin.vcxproj] C:\D\Slicer-build\QtGui4.lib(QtGui4.dll) VTKv7

It seems qt was built with the wrong terminal (cmd). I followed this to enable 64-bit compilation https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/x4d2c09s.aspx

vcvarsall amd64

I relaunched qt-easy build now.

Hi Juan,

Indeed, the "X86" and "x64" conflict indicates this.
